THE CALMING SUITE
Balance and connection was important in this primary bedroom suite. We used a deep indigo wool rug to anchor the space underneath a custom fabric print bed and soft white upholstered accent chairs that tie in the color of the floor covering and curtains with its sophisticated bold blue striping. To add a layer of coziness, we nestled the king size bed between custom built-ins which have dual purpose as nightstands containing additional storage as well as a display zone for art and books. We brought in other hues of tones found in nature which provides more visual interest and fosters a calming feeling. Textured grasscloth wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries serves as a serene backdrop which helps soften the room and becomes the perfect place to unwind from a long day and have a peaceful night of rest.
SWANKY DRESSING ROOM
This posh dressing room is a nod to the 70's with its colorful MCM style paper adorning the "5th wall" and super rich coats of Behr paint in the color Equilibrium from floor to ceiling. Getting ready for a night out is made fun and energetic with custom upholstered chairs, stylish accents and mirrors everywhere you look.
MOD CHIC MULTIPURPOSE CLOSET
Access is paramount even where space is limited. It was important to tackle all the necessary requirements and still keep this small closet a stunner. Adding shelving, a beverage station and laundry deposit across from a hanging rack creates a whole new meaning to convenience. No longer needing to head to the kitchen for a glass of wine or cup of coffee, nor having to trek down the stairs to dump clothing in the laundry bin. The shelves provide ample room for extra storage for towels and linens or even hats and more clothes. We really enjoyed making a huge impact with the mosaic style printed wallpaper on every wall, bamboo wood and both brushed and polished gold accents.
